Activities of GGSS - Summer Camps
Every year, during summer holidays (April/May), 'Vasanta Shibiram' is organised by GGSS. These camps have been organised for 16 years in the main branch at Vyalikaval, and have also been organised at the Vijayanagar branch since five years.
The shibiram will focus on various aspects such as spoken sanskrit , music , stotras , yoga , vedic maths , Bhagavadgeetha ,Story telling , Rangoli , Dance , Games , Moral Education ,Art and Craft and Group Dynamics. Lectures by eminent scholars are also organised. Children are also taken for a one-day devalaya-darshanam.
